Web Design from Framer to Figma for Customization.

Framer and Figma serve different purposes. Framer is focused on interactive web design and publishing, while Figma is primarily a design and interface tool. Because of this, there is currently no native one-click “Framer to Figma” export that preserves everything exactly.

Copy and Paste Method
In many cases, you can copy elements or sections from Framer and paste them into Figma. This may bring over layouts, text, and visual components, making customization possible. However, some structure may need cleanup afterward.
Rebuilding with Framer as Reference
For full customization, many designers use Framer as a visual reference and recreate the design in Figma. This often produces cleaner layers, better Auto Layout structure, reusable components, and a stronger design system.

Exporting Assets
You can also export assets from Framer (such as SVGs, images, icons) and import them into Figma for further editing. This works well when you want to preserve visuals while rebuilding the editable structure.
What Usually Doesn’t Transfer Perfectly
Interactive animations, responsive behaviors, CMS logic, and some component structures often do not transfer directly. These usually need to be recreated in Figma.

Finally it is possible, you can bring a Framer web design into Figma for customization, but usually through copy-paste, asset export, or partial recreation — not as a complete perfect transfer.
